X-Men Origins: Wolverine Hands-On

This looks like it could actually be a good game! I'm always skeptical about games based on movies, but supposedly this is not one. And, it also addresses one of my pet peeves in most games today.
For years now I have been wanting to see more games with lasting damage (like scars remaining in Fable II). How is it that someone takes 20 shots in the chest, then steps on a "health pack" and is suddenly at full health? How does someone get shot in the leg and keep running?
According to the article, there will be 4 layers on the model, so damage can be more lasting and realistic. Also allowing for Wolverine's natural healing. Even cooler (in my mind). The clothing will not heal, until he levels up.

Hopefully, if done right, this could actually be one enjoyable adventure but I too am skeptical of movie based games. We'll see how this one turns out.

I sure hope so that way they can show people that not ALL movie/comic based games are terrible.
