I'm actually pretty psyched for Wolfenstein RPG.
While Wolfenstein 3D came before Doom, Doom RPG came out for cell phones a while back. I dunno how psyched I am for Wolfenstein RPG (I never played Doom RPG) - their other effort, Orcs & Elves, was about as stock a generic fantasy RPG as one could imagine.
I'd be interested in Quake for the iPhone, if it had multiplayer, but unfortunately, "virtual controls" like you see in the Wolf screenshot... suck. They all suck. Without any sort of tangible feedback (like you get from a physical joystick), it's incredibly difficult to control the game. While I hope it turns out well, I can't really imagine it'd be precise enough to actually allow for, say, competitive multiplayer.
