The figure of $200 Million is the operating costs for the game since its launch in 2004. According to Blizzard, this is for things such as keeping its servers running, customer service, and co-location facilities.
While that sounds like a lot, people think that WoW makes $75 Million to $150 million per MONTH in revenue. NOT A BAD GIG!!!
