Time extension: Midway gets extra month to pay off debts

What's the point? Midway's holiday titles aren't going to be enough to make up their debt, and they don't have anything substantial releasing in the next month. Maybe they can sell themselves off, or sell off their upcoming titles, but otherwise, they're just delaying the inevitable at this point.

Weren't they just bought a couple of months ago for around $100,000? The buyer must have known these charges were coming.

Maybe they should try making a game not suck some time this century. I don't think they have had a good game since MKII.

I think that if Midway ever wants to make a profit again, they better leave the MK series in its grave already. They haven't done anything but make it worse. With all the firings, lay-offs, and so forth going on in the industry, their best bet is to pick up someone, ANYONE, who has an original thought, and let them make a game that will actually sell.
Unless of course they worked on a previous tomb raider game. Then they should just send that person to my house for a daily dose of assault.
