AOL is a bit of a dinosaur in this day and age and is pretty much the only "original" ISP still in operation, let alone still actually providing connectivity service. I think its days have been numbered for a while now and even they realized the fact by making the service free for those with their own providers.

what do you expect AOL is a dying breed. It used to have cool features but now they are just old hat. I used to go there for the chat rooms but they have gotten worst. Its time to pull the plug on them
