I read this news earlier today. It's awesome! But basically, doesn't it does say that if you have a traumatic memory, if you are completely preoccupied with some other mental task, you won't (while preoccupied with said task) be distressed by your trauma?
So, basically, keep yourself busy...? Or am I missing something?

no you've hit the nail on the head ebeast, if you keep your self busy with tetris or reading cosmo magazine you will be less suceptable to tramatic memories reoccuring.
