Rumor: Disney interested in buying out EA?

There is a lot of speculation about big media companies moving into the videogame space, but this particular rumor makes my head hurt.
EA publishes a lot of games that don't seem exactly... Disney-friendly, so I foresee issues in company direction. Mind you, this seems to be in the lowest run of rumors right now, and there's been no public reason to assume this will really happen, but it's still a bit worrisome.

Wow, that would be surprising. Not from a content point of view, but from a cash flow one. I heard through the grapevine that Disney is cutting $1B from it's operating budget, so to turn around and buy EA would be interesting.

EA wanted to buy the GTA Franchise a while back (In case GTA IV Failed to make its mark), Imagine Disney Making GTA V.

It does seem to undermine the validity of the rumor/speculation. The interesting thing is that EA still continues to make money on its leading games (perhaps not on its less popular games), so maybe it would help Disney balance its books. Still, seems like something you don't want to do when not in growth mode.
