hapacheese says,
Finally get some concrete info on the new DSi. A little disappointed - $179? That's only $20 less than a 360 o_O

It really doesn't feel like the right price for the current market. I'll still be excited to see it, but I was hoping for more like $120. That was probably too naive though.

Jayzis. For something that's barely an evolution of the DS, I'm not feeling it at $179. Then again, I've been SO wrong on how all of Nintendo's stuff should be selling recently that I'll just sit down, STFU, and be totally flabbergasted by how well the thing sells...

*sigh*

I absolutely agree with Helava. I just watched the video of it and it was kinda Pathetic. Seriously, Making 'More' Slimmer, Adding 2 camera's, A SD card and bigger screens, Is not a BIG improvement to the lite. With the crap they want to put into it, they should go the Apple way and make it a Phone. Then the price would be reasonable (With a 2 year contract and 3G hookup)

The part that confuses me the most is the two cameras. I know when the DS itself was first announced, I was confused about what they would do with two screens which they managed to do very nicely indeed, but I just don't know what you'd use two cameras for. I will wait to see, I suppose.

I suppose I could picture a game that uses an image of me along with an image of my environment... but is that really what they are planning? So hard to figure this out. I just want to see one usage demo with the two cameras. It'll drive me insane. Heh.
