Keep in mind, these are Japanese Sales. The XBox does not do nearly as well there as it does in The States. Similarly, they have a very different taste in games. The 1 game was Tales of Vesperia, while I've heard good (and some bad) about it, I seriously doubt it did as well as Gears 2 in The US.

This is Japan, the Japanese gaming fanbase is well known for it's fan loyalty to Nintendo and Sony.
In Japan, ToV prolly didn't do NEARLY as well by comparisons to other X-Box games in the rest of the world.

The Japanese are more into adventure and RPGs than FPS so you cant really compare our charts to theirs. America is more focused on FPS, cant remember where i read it but i did, than rpgs so of course ToV wouldnt outrank Gears 2 in America.
