New Killzone 2 TV Ad "Playable" In March

A very neat ad and a neat marketing concept (claim your ad is in game, then release a "playable" version of that ad to prove it - awesome). I'm still really curious to see if this game will turn out to be as good as the reviews are claiming.
That being said... I understand that this is "in-engine," but I doubt it will look like that during actual gameplay. Not to take away from their achievement - it still looks fantastic any way you slice it.

In-engine doesn't mean in-game. I realize that a bunch of people here already know that, but a lot of people don't realize that because they're gonna be controlling exactly what's being seen, they can use higher-rez models, higher-rez textures, and better lighting than they can when they're ALSO computing all the AI, rendering a lot more of the environment, etc.
Like Hapacheese said, that's not to take away from their achievement - I'm sure KZ2 is going to be stunning. But this is another form of marketing fakery, so don't be fooled.

Never. It's owned by Sony, and built to be very specifically tailored to the PS3's hardware, which makes porting it to other platforms incredibly difficult. Never gonna happen.
