This RPG from Level-5 is coming out as a PS3 exclusive in Japan this Christmas, then later in the US mid-2009, probably. With the new gains in hardware traction for the 360 in Japan, I'll bet MS would have liked this to have been a cross-platform release, at least in Japan. Check the source article for the video!
I am aware that that contract was something that was drawn up anywhere from 2-3 years ago though, before the 360 had any traction.
I just read up on Level-5 and they are the makers of Professor Layton, for the DS. I am so ashamed I didn't know that, as that is one of my favorite games ever (top 10, not quite top 5).

Yep - they also made Dragon Quest 8, Jeanne D'arc (PSP), etc. Great dev house.
