ebeast says,
The article claims that MS and Sony are both going to ramp down on first party development and skew more toward third party.

I am a little suspicious because I never fully trust a news source that seems to have its punctuation wrong (and of course I will ironically have a typo in my own rag), but this is in line with the confirmed news that Ensemble Studios is set to close shop.

Sounds like it's basically just Alex St. John's speculation, paired with the recent announcement about Ensemble. While MS and Sony have both waxed poetic about how exclusives aren't important, I think it's still a load of BS, and both companies know that exclusives are still vitally important.

Sad. I got a power down. I wish I knew why. I will optimistically hope that the power down was for the news content, not for me. emote icon

I dunno, the power down feature is a little confusing. Are people powering down the post for content, or the poster for choosing the article/their spin on it?

Yeah, I think it is confusing. We are planning on making it more clear soon, as in it is a planned task for a future release. emote icon

I think Sony and MS should allow other companies to make the games, because they already get enough $
