I just saw the preview for this movie. It looks like it is going to be good.

THIS looks good to you? Soft spoken Wahlberg as Payne is about as suitable as Vin Diesel as Spyro.
This movie is going to bomb. BOMB.

I'm not sure who I'd cast. I'd want someone who seemed a little more roughed up by life than Wahlberg. He is too baby-faced.

Guy Pearce?
Edward Norton?
Colin Farrell?
(I've skipped my obvious choice, Clive Owen, simply because he was in Shoot 'Em Up in a largely similar role already...)

Clive Owen looks too untouchable and unshaken in all his roles. Guy Pearce has more vulnerability, but this role just becomes Memento without the memory thing. Edward Norton is capable of just about anything, but he doesn't look as "solid" as Max. Colin Farrell is just about as bad as choosing Mark Wahlberg or Jake Gyllenhaal.

I would have picked the dude who played Agent 47. Timothy reallyhardtorememberlastnamegu y as pain.
Just take him out of the girl next door, and give him a leather jacket. Unless he was wearing one in that, then just let him keep it.
Or, I'd have gone really out of my mind and probably just picked Keanu Reeves.
I know. Woah.

I had to look up the guy's name, because I never remember either. Tim Olyphant, right? He sort of has the right look sometimes, but sometimes, he looks too much of a lightweight/pretty boy. I wanted to see Hitman, but I missed that boat.
And Keano Reeves?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! !! /Vader
And Keano Reeves?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
