Joystiq hands-on: Burnout Paradise Bikes
ebeast says,
I'm impressed this will be a free update to the Burnout: Paradise game! I know someone who is going to pretty much wet his pants upon seeing this. I had no idea they had a motorcycle pack in the planning, even though I posted the last article about Burnout: Paradise. Oh well. The Burnout franchise is the standout of the genre for me, for it's puzzliness (for truthiness, yo!) and sheer ridiculous destruction.
I will fully own up to the fact that I can't play it because my reflexes are terrible. But as silly as it sounds, it's a game I enjoy watching and helping to "solve". I could, and have, sat there for hours plotting which direction you need to careen off the ramp to run into which truck at just the right time to get the bus to collide into it coming from the other direction and so on.
I imagine the bike version is fantastic. They mention that the steering is quite forgiving, so maybe I could actually sit down with the controller and give it a go.
Coming this fall.
