I hate everything about this interview. I hate the subject (Itagaki is the most overrated, egotistical prick of a game director EVER in the history of EVER) and the interviewer comes off as the most worshipful of all fan-boys. This article sickens me.

Yeah - I think this really crosses the line between journalism and fanboyism. When you're hanging out in a bar, tlaking like you're friends, you've lost that distance that you require to report on something honestly.
I like James Mielke, in general, and I think one of the things he brings is just a massive, and very sincere love of gaming - but I agree with you on this. At this point, he simply shouldn't be interviewing Itagaki & Co.
