backtoreality says,
This is a mice nuts funding. They are trying to make casual games online and not for a platform.

Horrible name. Stupid "flirting" social network concept. But...I got in on the beta about a year ago when it first launched and their web design was SICK. Sick enough that even though the concept of the site was ridiculous, I spent almost an hour (a WHOLE hour...whoa) on the site dinking around before leaving and never looking back or thinking about about it again until this very moment.

Wow, that's some testimonial. Gotta check 'em out. How does it compare to Facebook or MySpace? Was the gaming aspect an integral part of the site? And how come you didn't go back?

Man, that DOES look nice. I like how they present the users on the very first page, as well as featuring content. We should do that here. I like their alerting system as well.

The ticker across the bottom is far less noisy than having a ton of profile pics, yet gives a sense of dynamic usage.

At that time there was absolutely no gaming content what-so-ever on the site. It was strickly a "we are too cool for you" restricted beta site that revolved around flirting. Really way to shallow for my tastes (not to mention, I'm married so flirting as a pastime doesn't hold much interest for me) but like I said...really nice web design and interactivity.

$1.5 million in funding deserves a press release since when, exactly? That's practically like saying, "We got money for lunch," these days.
