helava says,
Good grief. The winter pile-on has begin. This week, by itself, I'm interested in:

1.) World of Goo (Wii)
2.) Cesar Milan's Dog Whisperer (DS)
3.) Dead Space (PS3/360)
4.) FIFA 09 (everything)
5.) Korg DS-10 (DS)
6.) Sam & Max: Season 1
7.) Age of Booty (XBLA)

Then, there's also Golden Axe: Beast Rider, and Saint's Row 2. Not for me, but others might be interested. Crazy. IMO, Age of Booty and World of Goo are the two big ones.

Article excerpt from kotaku.com — "Dead Space and Saints Row 2 are this week's highly anticipated AAA-drops, coming out on Tuesday. Age of Booty for XBLA (Wednesday) and Thursday (PSN) is the DLC highlight. Sports fans get Blitz: The League II on Monday and FIFA Soccer 09 on five platforms on Tuesday. I've gotta be a little more strategic about my rentals, so I might take a...

Yeah, these days it's finding the time that's tricky more than anything else. I definitely end up getting more games than I can reasonably play. Particularly when a game like Rock Band/RB2 come along and chew up literally *hundreds* of hours over the course of a year.

So, priorities will have to be made. I'd guess of those listed above, World of Goo and Age of Booty will be the two that I'll get this week. Dead Space is next on the list, but not a "must have right now" kind of thing. Same with FIFA, and the Korg DS-10, though that's maybe a tie with Dead Space (even though it's not really a game at all).

In general, if a game lacks multiplayer, and friends of mine aren't all playing the game at the time, it drops further down the list of "must have now!" and down towards "might get cheap." We'll see.

Somehow, I missed the existence of the Dog Whisperer game when I looked at this rag the first time around. That's pretty awesome. I remember hearing about it a couple of months ago, but I hadn't realized it was so close to coming out.

Tempted to get it, even though I know it's silly.

Haha, you've caught on to my weakness -- I LOVE games kids would love. emote icon Plus, I have an adorable dog that we've actually used Cesar's techniques on. We are trying to teach him to "talk" now. It's hilarious.

Yup, that channel has some crazy stuff. I love watching stuff from there and the Discovery channel, even though lately all I find myself watching is Project Runway and America's Next Top Model. And Ugly Betty. emote icon I've been watching "How It's Made" on the Discovery Channel. They just show the production process for things like tires, canned food, surfboards, etc. It's amazing to think of the design of these factories.

Actually, I did watch Meerkat Manor. My brother was visiting me and he was really into that, so I started watching to. Unfortunately, I have no idea what happens after Flower's mate leaves, or I'd definitely tell you.

That family is amazing. It's so weird how much social interaction occurs within the animal kingdom that is similar to how we behave. I mean, I knew that, but it's different seeing it. :)

Yeah, most animals are loners and only come together during the breeding seasons, but the Meerkats, Lions, Wolves and I think um, elephants and whales are a family grouping species. emote icon

Yes, they r very smart, have u ever seen the movie: Day of the Dolphin? The one with the Dolphin that was trained to place I think it was a Bomb and it starred um, shoot, I think it was um, damned what is his name? I can see his face, but I can't recall his name. Maybe it was James Caan? I will have to look up the movie and see who all is starring in it, but it is a good movie and so is JAWS 2 I think that one had some Dolphins in it? emote icon Hey,in the San Andreas game from GTA, u can see actual Dolpins, Sea Turtles and fish and Sharks.. I am not lying about that.. I was amazed at it, and the boats? omg, they look so cool.. U have got to see that game for urself. But mind u, it is a hard ass game to play during the missions.. emote icon

Yeah, until the damned thing got me stuck in the Pilot School mission, and the Robbing Uncle Sam mission was a real drag.. U have to gather six crates on a guarded military base and get the "F" out of there, but it took me almost a week to master that mission and the Radio stations play actual music from real music artists like Leonard Skinnerd's Free Bird, and Billy Idol.. I loved the Radio stations, and the side missions were fun.. But the main missions were hard.. I will try and get another copy of it someday and pass it... emote icon
