Is it? I mean, comedy's usually funny when it's unexpected. With Thompson, you can just take the most opprtunistic, simplistic, inane, exploitative view, and he does exactly that. It's not particularly surprising, and it's not particularly creative.
I mean, I'm sure there's some measure of sarcasm there, but still... I dunno. I just want the guy to go away.
