EA stock seems to come and go with the tides. Given that Google is down 25% or more since last year, EA isn't doing so bad. Which makes me wonder which exec made a deal with the devil.

I bet almost every single Potter fan that is threatening boycott will actually end up buying it anyway. :D The appeal of Harry is too great for most fans.

the whole economy is down, but given they have kinda been crappy with a couple games, that doesn't help

EA stock seems to fluctuate almost like clockwork between $42/share and $62/share. Yeah, there are times when it "sticks" for a while in the low $40's, but it seems to eventually just bounce up to $62. Once it's at $62, it stays there for a short time, then falls back down to the $40's. Doesn't stay long in the $50/share range at all, and almost never goes out of that range.

Not in the last five years, anyway.

You know when I see the name Harry Potter now, I just start to laugh at what my friend came up with;
"Harry Pothead lights a blunt from the Goblet of Fire" :D
But it sucks that it's costing EA so much money.
