It's a pity this game did not live up to it's potential. It was a lot of fun, while it lasted.
Unfortunately, it made a few dire mistakes (aside from trying to compete with WoW). For one, it tried to target people who were both FPS and MMO fans. No many of those. I strongly believe MMO fans would have liked this game despite it's FPS vernier.
And one of the big killers of many failed MMOs, it's guild system was down right awful, which limits the addictive social nature of both WoW and EQ.
