Oh man, I remember getting my Dreamcast for $200. Has it been 9 years already? That makes me feel old. Yikes. Anyway, I can't believe that consoles have become so expensive that $250 is a "reasonable" price for a portable device.

I'm not sure I get this. They're going back to the original PSP price... for a better screen? Hell, at least Nintendo completely redesigned the DS when they did that.

Sony's strategy is to keep the cost of the PSP high. I have no idea why - likely to not make it seem like a "cheap toy," but it seems like a stupid strategy to me. The PSP simply isn't *worth* $250. At $140 or so, it becomes a really good value, but at $250, or even $200? Even with Skype or other VoIP support, no thanks.

Go figure Sony does more to rip off their customers. They do have superior hardware to The 360 but not enough for me to fork out $500 for a PS3 and 250 for a freaking portable. 360 has a vast more list of good exclusives as well as The Wii. Sony comes in 3rd place for me in this generations Console War.
