F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin Review
LD0ne says,
ok so it only took me 4 days to beat but I can't wait to play it again. F.E.A.R. 2 begins just a little before the explosion at the end of the first F.E.A.R. game and when time catches up you get to see a HUGE explosion pretty close to where you are. You play Sgt. Michael Becket, an elite Special Forces soldier who never says anything and always follows orders (and i mean it he never says a word just grunts every now and then). Of course Alma is back and badder then ever turning up at least 50 times during the game to scare the bejesus outta you and whoever else is watching. I found this game to be highly entertaining and at least a 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 on the creepy scale I had to walk away a bunch of times as now to piss my pants and even then i think i might have let loose a few drops (especially in the school DO NOT play the school level in the dark you'll only hurt yourself) The ending was quite strange in fact I don't think it was much of an ending so maybe we'll have a FEAR 3 in the distant future or some DLC to continue the story. Anyway other then the creepiness of the game you have your standard plethora of bad guys to take care of super soldiers that have lots and lots of ammo and grenades and many ways to get your ass if they want and they keep coming so prepare for a lot of shooting. Really good achievements on the XBOX side you get 15 points for beating each level, if you use the various weapons and constantly kill with different ones you'll get achievements for beating at least 10 guys with each weapons (ie with the laser gun if you kill 10 baddies you get 15 pts). So I say yes get it it has a lot of replay value if you enjoy constant fire fights and even after you play it once or twice i think you will still need to play with the lights on cause this game is just damn creepy.this is LD signing off
