Duke Nukem Forever gone, but a new 'Duke Begins'

Gossipgamers.com has found a bit of news from among the court papers filed between 3D Realsma dn Take-two. "The original development schedule for the Duke Begins game provided that the game was to be completed and commercially released by mid-2010…" This game mentioned in the article is not the same game as Duke Nuken Forever.
It's a little confusing, but basically, it seems like there was some secret project that got canned, but might get revived.
