So, seems like the rumors were true. DSi? The camera, eh - whatever. But the SD-card slot + downloadable games = whoa. that was unexpected. But also a move in the right direction. I'd love to have a large SD-card with any game I'd downloaded from Nintendo on it, rather than carrying around Altoids gum tins full of little cartridges. Lowers their cost, ups their margin, and adds convenience for the user.

I agree. I think the download service for the DS has great potential. I guess it depends on who they open up the service to. We'll just have to wait and see. As for the SD-card slot + dlc, that's going to be huge for the Wii. Now all those Rockband Wii owners won't have to wait for update disks. I wonder if this will change the way developers approach making Wii games now. Moving on to the DSi...I'm a sucker. I probably will get this thing. I'll justify it somehow and it'll eventually make its way into my life. Damn you Nintendo!!!
