This is a HUGE problem for me. I loved MGS, and I really liked MGS2 up until the very end. Then, literally in the last ten minutes, the idiotic plot twist upon plot twist drove me completely berserk. No, it's not that I didn't understand what Kojima was saying - it's that he said it SO BADLY and it was so ridiculous that it almost destroyed the game for me.
Seeing a reviewer mention that the end of MGS4 is as ridiculous really makes me wonder what I'll think of the game when I finish it. MGS3's gameplay was ridiculously broken (pre-Subsistence), MGS2's story was absolute garbage. The reviewer has extremely high praise for MGS4's gameplay, but the story? Not so much.

I really hope is a huge mechanical "Belle" - with nano forks! i would so love to blow that up!

I liked a side joke in MGS2 where there's the two big screens and you could keep messing with the bikini pics and make the soldiers keep turning their heads. Unfortunately, once the video of the commander came back they got pissed and killed you... well worth it though.
