It's not really that interesting, the thing Steve strives for is perfection, and Adobe products like Microsoft products have the same problem they are built with bug ridden libraries, and they just do not take the time or effort to fix the issues. Steve is trying to make his products as stable as possible, nothing more frustrating then having to reboot cause a program gobbled up all the memory cause of a memory leak caused by bad code or library. Flash is so buggy at times it just crashes. You will notice this a lot with video web applications. Requiring developers to code in a 3GL is just a way to control the whole application without being hindered by some framework with bugs.

Actually, I am really amazed but this two companies and I do think that they shouldn’t be forced to fight. Instead, cooperate with each other to make products that will suit everyone’s needs. The faster Adobe and Apple get over their respective beefs, the better it will be for everybody. The OS 4.0 iPhone won't run Adobe flash - though it is luring to mock Apple zealots who got payday loans to get in line to purchase their new trinket and here I thought the point behind smart phones was versatility and functioning as a PC and cell phone at once.
