I played the Demo last night and figured I'd start off my week with a little news on the Sequel to 2005's FEAR. DO NOT PLAY IF YOU GET SCARED EASILY!!! I played the demo last night and was up most of the night going damn that was some scary crap. They give you a pretty nice demo to play letting you use a really nice selection of weapons (sniper rifle, assault rifle, pistol, shotgun, all kinds of grenades) and you get an idea whats going on in the game (including a really sweet Mech battle towards the end of the demo that will leave you either pissing in your boots or crying for more).. Since tax season is almost here i think i will be using my measly (and boy its gonna be a crappy return) tax check to pick this one up. As usual you have lots of dark corners crazy premonitions, when you turn around BOO Alma's there scaring the bejesus outta ya and these really cool bad guys that are like ghosts that just come at you from every corner without any remorse. The controls in the demo were quite tight and pretty easy to use (although i wasn't to crazy about the so called quick weapon change option with the left bumper) and the environments look amazing.. I don't know if the demo is just a level that's in the game or was just a level made for the demo but man I CAN'T wait to get this.. And if your a fan of being scared by video games then this one should definitely be on your list of games to get for the month of February..
